Media Campaigns

Let’s Go! will appear in many different locations throughout Greater Portland. Here is a listing of our media campaigns.

Current:

Focus on the 0
This fall, we'll continue the campaign with a focus on the benefits of cutting back on sugar-sweetened beverages and drinking more low-fat milk and water. Let's Go! along with the Greater Portland Dental Society and the students of Thornton Academy in Saco have produced a TV spot around this theme. Click here to view. Here's a look at our ad that ran at local cinemas this summer. Click here. Check out our signage at the civic center as well!

Focus on the 5
We launched our most recent campaign with a focus on the merits of frozen and canned fruits and vegetables. In tough times, it's good to remember that even if you can't eat fresh, there are just as good options. Our own Dr. Tory Rogers, Medical Director of Let's Go! and some eager kids show us how easy it is to use frozen fruits and canned vegetables in making healthy foods with your kids.

Past:

Winter Activities
Each year, the Maine Association of Broadcasters honors the best of Maine broadcasting. Maine Association of Broadcasters recognized WGME with a second place award in the television spot category for “Let’s Go! Winter” produced by John Schrank, Matt Perry, and Kerry Corcoran. Check out the winning PSA.

Let’s Go! Youth Advisory Committee PSA
The Youth Advisory Committee designed the concept for this PSA and starred in it. It was filmed, directed and produced by Jessica Cicero, a USM Media Studies intern who worked with Let’s Go! this semester. Watch the PSA

Television Campaign

Let’s Go! has created a series of messages that will encourage healthy lifestyles for kids and families. These spots highlight how Mainers are taking time out of their day to become more physically active and to eat healthy.
