Yarmouth schools will use an 'edible schoolyard' to provide food and lessons on biology and the environment.
Becki Schreiber, director of the Yarmouth school nutrition program, tries to serve plenty of fresh, locally grown vegetables for school lunches, but the cost sometimes strains the budget. Now, Yarmouth schools have come up with an easier way to get fresh produce into school cafeterias: growing it in the schoolyard. Read more.
