Race to Wellness Day at Wallagrass Elementary
Members of the Fort Kent Community High School Youth Wellness Team and students from the Fort Kent Community High School Concepts of Fitness and Wellness course helped promote healthy eating and physical activity as part of the Race to Wellness Day in Wallagrass Elementary on April 2.
Students at Wallagrass Elementary were able to participate in a variety of nutrition education and physical activity workshops. The workshop activities were Relay Around the Food Pyramid, Healthy Hopscotch, Make a Funny Fruity Face, and Rollie Robin.
The Race to Wellness Day was organized by the wonderful parents, staff, and principal, at Wallagrass Elementary along with the MSAD #27 School Health Coordinator.
