students moving at the November Health Fair.
Mast Landing has been actively participating in Let’s Go! Takes 5-2-1-0 to School since September. Some examples of 5-2-1-0 activities include school-wide use of 5-a-day bracelets to help kids ensure they’re getting at least 5 fruits and vegetables every day, use of pedometers to help increase number of steps per day, a real food display of the food pyramid, and school-wide efforts to offer physical activity as a reward instead of pizza parties or other food based celebrations! Their hard work is paying off – at their November health fair, every student knew the 5-2-1-0 message.
