Students at West School were surprised by a visit from school Nurse Tanguay and an entourage of fruit and vegetable friends last month. They performed a 5-2-1-0 skit as a way to introduce the Let’s Go! Takes 5-2-1-0 to School program. This was followed with the implementation of a “Healthy Snack Policy” followed by a 5-a-day challenge and an exotic fruit sampling. Students are consuming more fruits and vegetables already!
