Let’s Go! Healthcare is generously funded by the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation’s Growing Up Healthy initiative and implemented in partnership with MaineHealth.

Why Healthcare?
Healthcare professionals and primary care physicians are credible sources for health and wellness messages.  They also play an integral role in the health of our communities.

Introducing our 5210 messages for healthy lifestyles is a natural fit for our obesity prevention goal and gives providers easy tools and messages to share with their patients and families.

What We Do
We partner with primary care physicians on childhood obesity prevention. We provide educational outreach, supporting materials and training on healthy eating and physical activity for physicians working with children and their families.

Primary care practices that register with us have the opportunity to be recognized as a Let’s Go! Practice. This recognition demonstrates providers’ commitment to the 5210 messages and connects them to their patients who are hearing the message in their schools, child care, and community. We work with hospitals in achieving Baby Friendly designation, which aims to increase breast feeding rates of new mothers. We also work with hospitals to offer healthy food choices and hospital employee workplace wellness initiatives.
